The comic Gallagher, known for smashing watermelons, is “slowly recovering” from a heart attack suffered just before he was to perform at a Texas club, his promotional manager said Thursday.
“We will not know the outcome until sometime tomorrow,” said Christine Scherrer.
Gallagher, 65, is listed in stable condition at an undisclosed Dallas-area hospital,
